KARGA: Solving for a combat vet and his service dog

It's not always about securing your outdoor or travel gear with the KARGA. We get special requests and do our best to solve for our customer’s needs. In this case we were contacted by a combat veteran with a service dog.

As you know, service dogs for combat vets provide a crucial partnership for the former soldier. They are more than companions. They are family. As such, you want to treat them as that be it in the home or your automobile of choice. Which in this case, is a JEEP Rubicon.

The customer came to us as we were finishing up our KARGA 50% prototype. His service dog needed a stable, even platform that would fit into the Jeep. Just so happens we were testing on a Wrangler and after a few emails, both the customer and 63 Industries, thought we had a good shot and a solution. And fortunately, we were right. He throws a comfy blanket on top for some cushioning and both passengers in the Rubicon are happy customers.

We checked back with our customer as we wrote this to make sure all parties were satisfied. Again, we can check the box. It doesn’t always work out this way, but it’s sure nice when it does. And it’s especially rewarding being able to help one of our military combat veterans and his dog.
